Lincoln Award Nominees

Lincoln Awards Nominee- Students are nominated for three Lincoln Awards which are awarded by the faculty each year at graduation: Award for Leadership, Award for Outstanding Character, and Award for Service. 

         Award for Leadership: The faculty gives this award each year to a student who demonstrates outstanding leadership, scholastic performance, and integrity.
         Award for Outstanding Character: The faculty gives this award each year to a student who exhibits outstanding generosity of spirit and selflessness, and who has the habit of doing what is right, regardless of personal interests or outside pressures. This student displays good citizenship and a positive attitude and inspires other students to higher achievement.
         Award for Service: The faculty gives this award each year to a student who has a keen dedication to legal activism, diversity, and confronti
ng social issues. This student has made the most significant contribution to legal aid, local community organizations, and/or the law school.

This page is maintained by the LMU Law Student Bar Association ("LMU SBA").

LMU SBA is comprised of 15 students at the LMU School of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee, who are elected by the student body of the School of Law. LMU SBA hosts events, facilitates the design and purchase of LMU Law-branded merchandise, liases between students and faculty/administration, oversees other student organizations, and represents student concerns to the University and School of Law.
