The Pioneers Law Student Association (PLSA) is an organization for students who identify as the first in their family to attend college. PLSA seeks to create a professional and social support network to help first generation students succeed in law school. PLSA’s mission is to foster a welcoming, inclusive community which addresses the many challenges that first generation professionals confront, both in law school and during their careers. To forward their mission of promoting advocacy, community, professionalism, and empowerment, PLSA will sponsor lunch talks with professors and legal professionals, as well as a variety of social events.
